Press Release: Tel Aviv, Israel, November 30th, 2017 – I Know First Selected To Join The Israel-China Accelerator Program In Beijing

I Know First was chosen among 100 participants to join the selective group of 10 Israeli hi-tech start-ups which will be participating in the new Israel-China Accelerator program in Beijing. The program will be led by Israel’s Ministry of Economy and Industry in cooperation with China’s Shengjing Group and DayDayUp.

The Chinese Shengjing Group is one of China’s largest management consulting and private equity firms. It has already invested nearly $100 million in Israel and has a deep understanding of both the Israeli and Chinese market. DayDayUp is a group that connects Chinese and international investors.

Mr. Yaron Golgher, CEO of I Know First, together with officials from the Ministry of Economy, executives from the Shengjing Group and DayDayUp, and the other entrepreneurs selected to join the Israel-China Accelerator program

The Israel-China Accelerator is a 6-month program, with in-depth training regarding the Chinese market and business matching services that will be given by potential investors, customers, and strategic partners. Its main goal is to help Israeli start-ups to enter, grow and succeed in the Chinese market. Moreover, the participants will receive a workspace in Beijing and will also be assisted with logistical issues. The criteria for selecting the participants was based on their perceived chance of taking market share in China.

The prestigious program will be divided in two parts. First, the participants will receive training in order to learn the necessary skills to start a business in China. This will include an introduction to the Chinese business environment, industry overviews, legal, regulatory and tax concerns. Second, the program will be focusing on practical exercises and business development, including meetings with potential customers, partners and potential investors.
