He continued to track AMD and also predicted further stock increases in April and early July. All of these forecasts were accurate as AMD continuously increased throughout 2016.

quick win

There are several reasons AMD rebounded as is now doing very well. On April 22nd AMD licensed X86 server chip designs to be used in China to protect intellectual property and raise security in servers. This deal netted AMD 293 million dollars which boosted their stock tremendously. Surprising 2nd quarter profits have continued to push AMD stock to new highs.  AMD chips are also continuing to be in high demand allowing AMD to sell many chips each year. CEO Lisa Su can be thanked for a lot of the innovation and the renewed vitality of this company. It looks as if AMD may be able to officially leave the rut they are stuck in and start reporting continued quarterly profits by the end of this year.
