In early January 2015 I Know First wrote an article about Netflix and gave a prediction of its stock movement for the 3 months and 1 year periods. The signal for the 3 months was 50.16 and predictability 0.46 and the Year forecasted signal was 158.48 and predictability of 0.51. The Algorithm correctly predicted both time frames and brought returns greater than 133%.

Netflix has placed in their service pipeline original content besides the already 24 new shows that they released in 2015. They are planning to expand this to 31 new shows for 2016 and their public is really excited and the shareholders are too. As their content becomes more popular they will have the ability to increase prices and maybe even create an exclusive category of content within their own platform. The company’s investment in more servers and higher quality control will enhance the viewers experience and give an added value to the company. For this and more Netflix is the best algorithmic stock performer of the year.
