I Know First financial analyst, Harry Chiang responded by explaining the blurry distinction between artificial intelligence and machine learning and pointing to the fact that the second is a subset of the first. Artificial intelligence indeed refers to human intelligence exhibited by machines while machine learning specifically deals with machines being able to learn from self-parsed data and teach themselves based on it. Both concepts have numerous application in the financial industry, applications bing applied in customer service, fraud detection, automation of routine tasks, and wealth management, ect.

On the other hand, virtual reality and augmented reality have more tangible differences but while widely applied in the media and entertainment industry, they don’t have many applications in the financial industry. The main difference between the two is that augmented reality does not completely replace our reality, instead, it imposes computer-generated enhancements in the real world. It blends together elements of the virtual with the real world, layering the two.
