Press Release

Press release: Tel Aviv, Israel, September 2, 2016– FinTech company “I Know First” to collaborate on artwork at a Museum of Contemporary Art in Shanghai, China.

Press ReleaseI Know First, Ltd. is a financial technology company that provides daily investment forecasts based on an advanced, adaptable, self-learning algorithm. The company’s algorithm predicts over 3,000 securities (and growing) with capabilities to discover patterns in large sets of historical stock market data.

I Know First will be collaborating with London based artist Fabio Lattanzi Antinori who is working on a piece for a solo show at the Pavilion of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Shanghai. The exhibit will feature an interactive sculpture, which reacts to the presence of the audience through capacitive sensing, by producing music, when touched. More specifically, the installation is about creating an interrelation between the volatility of financial markets, particularly the Shanghai Stock Exchange, and the temporary condition of human life. Antinori will be translating I Know First’s daily stock market predictions to Mandarin and using the forecasts for each day of the exhibition to provide an overview of what happens in the Chinese financial markets.

According to Fabio Lattanzi Antinori the aim of the exhibition is “to create a parallel between the fascinating world of the financial market and the language of the interior, an almost spiritual level, where trust and faith in the unknown coexist thanks to numbers.”

CTO and Co-Founder of I Know First Dr. Lipa Roitman notes “The Chinese philosophical concepts of Yin and Yang can be interpreted as symbolic representations of market forces. Fear and Greed, Yin and Yang are two opposing and complementary forces that keep each other in check. The constant interplay of the optimism and pessimism is what causes market waves, peaks and crashes. Our AI forecasting algorithms are designed to measure these forces and forecast the future.”

I Know First CEO Yaron Golgher views this collaboration as “an interesting and unique combination of art, financial markets & artificial intelligence algorithms. It serves as a demonstration of the clear concrete connection between the actions of individuals and their impact on the stock exchange.”

The exhibit will be open at MoCA in Shanghai September 21- October 11.
