Bank Hapoalim – Poalim Start Up Week
I Know First, Ltd. is a financial technology company that provides daily investment forecasts based on an advanced, self-learning algorithm. The Algorithm was developed by Dr. Lipa Roitman, a scientist with over 35 years of experience in the field, and who now leads our Research & Development team to further develop and enhance the algorithm. Dr. Lipa Roitman is an R&D Chemist with a long record in computer modeling of processes, product development and process development. The concept of the current algorithm has crystallized following years of prior research into the nature of chaotic systems.
Bank Hapoalim aims to promote the hi-tech industry in Israel, and support the next generation of entrepreneurs, startups and developers in the areas of hi-tech and FinTech. The event is 5 days long, starting on November 13-17, 2016. It will be located at Beit Hashmaot–Menachem Begin St 21, which is in the heart of Tel Aviv, Israel.
Yaron Golgher spoke during the “Commerce and Insurance — Is this the end for the human broker?” discussion from 11:15-12:30 PM on Monday, accompanied by Eitan Bek from TLV Partners, Gil Arazi from Fin TLV, Lian Almog from Fintactia, Eyal Herzog & Dror Katzav from Atidot and Avi Zeevi from Carmel Ventures. On the following day, Tuesday November 15, Yaron partook in the panel entitled “Market Predictions by Technologies.” Other speakers were Yair Kaufman from Intelligo Group, Tomer Ben Moshe from Cooladata, Adar Shomron from Biyond, Anne Pitkänen from IBM, Uri Gruenbaum from Tipranks with Ronen Nir from Carmel Ventures as the moderator.
