Position number 1: Financial Analyst

  • Internship description Immerse yourself in the world of analyzing financial markets and algorithmic performance in. First you will be taught how to analyze the algorithm and how to post the algorithmic performance online via each channel. Then, you will be expected to do in-depth research and analysis for articles that will be posted on financial publication websites (with your name on the article) for our analytical branch, I Know First Research. Also, you will write relevant financial content for our various websites. He will need a complete understanding of the algorithms strategy as well as of the financial market.
  • Responsibilities Included
    • Conduct analysis of algorithmic performance.
    • Perform qualitative and quantitative research of financial markets and write exemplary articles representing I Know First Research.
    • Write relevant content (short analyses of stocks, of global markets –oil, gold, US stock market- Stock picks by the algorithm and so on)
  • Requirements
    • Degree or pursuing a degree in a relevant field (BA/BS/ MS in Finance, Economy, Math, Computer Science, Engineering or related degree)
    • English or Hebrew at a mother tongue level but must be able to speak fluent English
    • Advanced web search and research skills across industries and markets
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office especially Excel
    • Well-organized and passionate about the stock market

Position number 2: Quantitative Analyst

  • Internship Description: I Know First is looking for a self-motivated, mathematically inclined intern to analyze the algorithm’s outputs (signal and predictability) and develop various trading rules based on those. This includes, but is not limited to, statistical analysis, data modeling, and back testing strategies applying the previously developed rules.
  • Responsibilities Include
    • Analyzing the algorithm’s performance for different markets over varying time ranges
    • Developing, implementing and testing individual trading decision rules based on the algorithmic predictions as well as possible additional triggers, e.g. incorporating technical indicators
    • Inventing/implementing trading strategies on individual security and/or portfolio level, back testing and optimizing those
  • Requirements
    • strong quantitative background
    • at least a basic understanding of capital markets and it’s driving factors
    • knowledge or prior experience in technical analysis, (algorithmic) trading is a plus
    • A programming background is a strong advantage, but at least some previous experience in one of the following languages: Excel/VBA, Matlab, R, Python, C#/C++

Position number 3: Marketing Analyst

  • Internship Description A Community Manager is the face of a company, managing communications in both directions. This digital-savvy employee is responsible for all communications, PR, social media, events, and content creation, among other things. It’s a communications role, incorporating online tools and in-person networking to create relationships and ultimately build the company’s brand, both online and off.
  • Responsibilities Included
    • Content creation – writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels
    • Social media marketing– creating, managing and growing the company’s presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online properties
    • Public relations– managing incoming media requests and building relationships with industry journalists; creating, executing and measuring media campaigns
    • Communications/marketing strategy– the Community Manager is responsible for creating strategic marketing/communications plans to provide direction for the company’s public-facing communications
    • Analytics– Using Google Analytics and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives
  • Requirements
    • Degree of pursuing a degree in a relevant field (BA/MS in Marketing, Communication, Web or related degree)
    • MBA – An Advantage
    • English at a mother tongue level but must be able to speak fluent English
    • Understanding of popular social media platforms
    • Writing skills
    • Outgoing personality & well organized

Position number 4: Data Management /Programming Intern

  • Internship Description This opportunity is for a result-oriented individual who is keen on data management/analysis and programming projects. You will work on projects with our R&D department as well as with our operations department.
  • Possible projects:
    • Development/implementation of a hierarchical data basis and processes to receive, store and extract daily algorithm inputs and outputs for later analysis purposes and performance measurement
    • Ongoing automatization projects for the operations team, improving and speeding up the daily tasks, mostly in Excel-VBA
    • Help with software planning and modeling
  • Requirements
    • Degree or pursuing a degree in a relevant field (Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related degree)
    • Data base knowledge/experience
    • Previous experience with Python and/or Java, Excel-VBA
    • Knowledge about big data platforms and algorithms – an advantage
    • Desire to learn and apply new skills in a team setting

 

Position number 5: Business Development & Research Analyst

  • Internship description Immerse yourself in the world of analyzing financial markets, algorithmic performance, conducting market research and business development strategies for internship israel. First you will be taught how to analyze the algorithm and how to post the algorithmic performance online via each channel. Then, you will be expected to do in-depth research and analysis for articles that will be posted on financial publication websites (with your name on the article) for our analytical branch, I Know First Research. The intern will be working hands on with I Know First staff in terms of business development and is expected to be able to take initiative on projects you may have created for yourself.
  • Responsibilities Included
    • Conduct analysis of algorithmic performance.
    • Perform qualitative and quantitative research of financial markets and write exemplary articles representing I Know First Research.
    • Collaborate with the I Know First team to develop and enhance general business strategies
    • Assist in day to day operations as required
  • Requirements
    • Degree of pursuing a degree in a relevant field (BA/BS in finance, Marketing, Economy or related degree)
    • English or Hebrew as a mother tongue but must be able to speak fluent English
    • Advanced web search and research skills across industries and markets
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office especially Excel
    • Well-organized and passionate about the product and vision

 

Position number 6: Marketing Strategist

  • Internship Description I Know First is looking for a creative individual who will assist in the development and implementation of strategic marketing campaigns. You will also help plan our online media presence, create online content, general PR efforts and manage social media activity. The intern will be responsible for customer outreach in the US. You will learn how to utilize web analytics, how to analyze web traffic and data relating to social media as well as develop content that will help meet company goals.
  • Responsibilities Included
    • Manage social media activity (Community manager)
    • Maintain online media presence and create online content
    • Customer outreach in the US
    • Analyze web analytics
    • Contribute in planning marketing/advertising strategy and evaluate return on investment
  • Requirements
    • Degree of pursuing a degree in a relevant field (BA/BS/MS in Marketing, Finance, Communication or related degree)
    • MBA—an advantage
    • Proficient with social media
    • Strong verbal/communication skills with the ability to be persuasive
    • Basic understanding of the financial markets
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office + skills with Photoshop or any video editing tools is a great advantage
    • Well-organized and passionate about the product and vision
