Among the company’s products and services are 3D printers, print materials, on-demand parts services and digital design tools. 3D Systems provides advanced healthcare capabilities such as simulation, Virtual Surgical Planning, and the printing of medical and dental devices. They support these advanced applications from product design to the factory floor to the operating room.

On March 22nd, information was released regarding 3D Systems’ involvement in the 2016 AMUG (Additive Manufacturing Users Group) Conference that will be held in St. Louis, Missouri on April 3-7. The company announced that it will be featuring demonstrations of the full range of its 3D printers, materials and software solutions as well as its on-demand manufacturing services. Information sessions will also be hosted by 3D Systems, in addition to the presentations, covering an extensive list of topics involving the latest developments in additive manufacturing and digital design.

Presentations will include the SLAbot-2 technology to showcase ultra-fast, modular, additive manufacturing, the ProX DMP 320 to demonstrate high precision, high throughput Direct Metal Printing (DMP), and the ProJet 6000/ProX 800 to illustrate production-grade SLA printing. Other products and services to be shown include the ProX 500, ProJet MJP 3600 Series, ProJet MJP 2500 Series, Quickparts (on-demand parts manufacturing), Capture, and Geomagic Design X.

Information sessions will cover a range of topics such as, “The evolution of Stereolithography featuring the SLAbot-2”, “How to design for additive manufacturing parts, molds, and tools”, and “Precision healthcare and personalized medical solutions”. In addition to these sessions, 3D Systems’ Co-Founder and CTO, Chuck Hull, will also attend the conference and participate in a Diamond Sponsor Panel on April 5.

On February 22nd, 3D Systems (DDD) was included in the top 10 stocks in the long position for the Tech package on the 1-month time horizon. The algorithm predicted positive returns from the company with a strong bullish signal of 10.17 and a predictability of 0.53. During that 1-month time period, DDD saw growth of 60.61% and was the highest-earning stock included in the forecast. Overall the package returned an average of 17.62%, more than double the S&P 500’s 6.88% return for the period.
