I Know First CEO Represents Wealth-Tech At Inaugural Steering Committee

On August 13, I Know First CEO Yaron Golgher represented the wealth-tech sector at the 1st ever Steering Committee Meeting of the Israel Export Institute (IEI)  FinTech sector. The meeting aimed to discuss the activities of the Israeli FinTech sector. Moreover, the meeting sought to discover industry needs and how to fulfill them in the future.

Therefore, Mr. Golgher’s presence at the meeting allowed input from the wealth-tech subsection of the entire FinTech sector. In this sector that is mainly comprised of startups focusing on investing, financing, and lending, companies attempt to maximize their clients’ prosperity. As CEO of a company that works with both individual and institutional clients, Mr. Golgher offered a unique input that focused on the needs of wealth-tech companies as well as the clients they are trying to help. Mr. Golgher was honored to be a part of the first steering committee meeting and looks forward to contributing more to this important group in the future to help progress the success of entire FinTech sector in the future.

The “startup nation” has been thriving recently and Israel is now the home of over 7,000 startups. The FinTech space has been a highlight of Israel’s prospering startups and includes startups, think tanks and incubators, venture capitalists, and research & development centers for international and domestic companies. FinTech, short for financial technology, aims to implement technology more efficient within finance and compete with traditional financial methods and services. 

There are now over 500 startups focusing primarily on financial technology in a huge variety of ways. There are many different subcategories of FinTech startups.This includes startups that focus on digital payments and easing the process of transferring money which includes companies that support lending, financing, and investing; startups focused on trading and investing such as I Know First; companies that focuses on blockchain and cryptocurrency; and more. There are many more startups that don’t fall in these traditional lines because they are so unique.
