With increasing global investments in AI computing infrastructure and enterprise cloud modernization, Broadcom remains well-positioned to benefit from sustained long-term demand.
AVGO Stock Forecast: Financial Results

(Figure 1: AVGO vs. Peers for profitability margins and debt structure.)
Broadcom continues to outperform its peer group across nearly every major profitability metric. As shown in Figure 1, the company generated a gross margin of approximately 76%, EBITDA margin of 55%, EBIT margin of 44%, and net income margin of 39%, all well above the peer averages. These superior margins reflect Broadcom’s strong competitive position in high-value semiconductor markets, disciplined cost management, and pricing power within AI networking, custom silicon, and enterprise software. While Broadcom’s Total Debt-to-EBITDA ratio remains higher than the peer average due to its acquisition-driven capital structure, its Total Debt-to-Capital ratio is below the industry average, indicating that the company maintains a balanced long-term financing strategy. Overall, Broadcom’s profitability significantly offsets concerns surrounding its leverage and highlights the company’s ability to generate substantial cash flow.

(Figure 2: FY2021 to FY2025 AVGO’s Capex-to-Revenue)
Broadcom has maintained a disciplined capital investment strategy despite operating in one of the fastest-growing technology markets. As illustrated in Figure 2, capital expenditures as a percentage of revenue declined steadily from 1.6% in FY2021 to approximately 1.0% in FY2025. This trend suggests that Broadcom has been able to expand revenue faster than capital spending, demonstrating strong operating efficiency and high returns on invested capital. Compared with many semiconductor manufacturers that require significant fabrication investments, Broadcom’s fabless business model allows it to scale efficiently while preserving free cash flow. The relatively low capital intensity provides greater financial flexibility to fund acquisitions, reduce debt, return capital to shareholders, and continue investing in strategic AI initiatives.

(Figure 3: FY2021 to FY2025 AVGO’s Capex Growth)
Although capital expenditures represent a declining proportion of revenue, Broadcom continues to increase its absolute investment in long-term growth opportunities. Figure 3 shows that annual capital expenditure growth accelerated from a 4.3% decline in FY2022 to growth rates of 6.6%, 21.2%, and 13.7% over the subsequent three fiscal years. The sharp increase in FY2024 reflects Broadcom’s continued investment in AI networking infrastructure, enterprise software integration following the VMware acquisition, and expansion of research and development capabilities. While capital spending remains well controlled relative to revenue, management continues to allocate resources toward projects that support future revenue growth and strengthen the company’s competitive advantage in AI and cloud infrastructure markets.

(Figure 4: FY2021 to FY2025 AVGO’s Debt-to-Equity Ratio)
Broadcom has made significant progress in strengthening its balance sheet following several major acquisitions. As shown in Figure 4, the company’s debt-to-equity ratio declined substantially from 176.0% in FY2022 to 81.8% by FY2025. This improvement reflects management’s disciplined approach to debt reduction through strong operating cash flows and earnings growth. Although Broadcom continues to utilize leverage as part of its capital structure, the downward trend indicates improving financial flexibility and reduced balance sheet risk. The combination of strong profitability, robust free cash flow generation, and ongoing deleveraging positions the company well to finance future growth while maintaining an investment-grade financial profile.
Future Business Outlook
Broadcom’s long-term growth outlook remains favorable as enterprises continue expanding investments in AI infrastructure, cloud computing, and high-performance networking solutions. The company’s leadership in custom AI accelerators, Ethernet networking, optical interconnects, and application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) positions it as a key supplier to hyperscale cloud providers. At the same time, VMware strengthens Broadcom’s software segment by providing recurring subscription revenue and deeper enterprise customer relationships.
However, several risks could moderate future growth. The semiconductor industry remains cyclical and highly dependent on enterprise capital expenditure, while increasing competition from companies such as NVIDIA, AMD, Marvell, and custom silicon developed by hyperscale customers may pressure future margins. In addition, much of Broadcom’s expected AI growth appears to have already been reflected in its current market valuation, limiting upside potential despite strong operating fundamentals.
AVGO Stock Forecast: Stock Forecast: Discounted Cash Flow Model (DCF)

(Figure 5: Discounted Cash Flow Valuation Summary)
Using Broadcom’s historical financial data from FY2021 to FY2025, we developed a five-year forecast to estimate the company’s intrinsic value using a discounted cash flow (DCF) model. Revenue projections were segmented into Broadcom’s two operating divisions: Semiconductor Solutions and Infrastructure Software, which accounted for approximately 72.3% and 27.7% of FY2025 revenue, respectively. Based on historical arithmetic averages and current industry trends, the model assumes annual revenue growth of 17.0% for the Semiconductor Solutions segment, supported by continued demand for AI networking, custom silicon, and data center connectivity products. Infrastructure Software is projected to grow at 44.3%, reflecting the continued expansion and integration of VMware’s subscription-based software business. Operating expenses, including research and development, selling, general, and administrative expenses, and cost of revenue, were forecast using historical averages as a percentage of revenue to maintain consistency with Broadcom’s historical operating performance.
The pro forma model assumes Broadcom will continue investing in strategic growth initiatives while maintaining its relatively asset-light business model. Capital expenditure assumptions were based on historical averages as a % of revenue, representing approximately 10.0% of machinery and equipment, 2.7% for buildings and leasehold improvements, and minimal investments in land and construction in progress. Depreciation was estimated using the straight-line method with useful lives consistent with historical accounting policies. The model also incorporates a 4.0% long-term debt interest rate, a 5.0% annual increase in long-term debt to support future investments, and a 1.0% annual debt repayment assumption. Working capital items were forecast using historical averages, with cash balances adjusted to a more conservative level to avoid overstating excess cash. A 4.0% terminal growth rate was applied, reflecting Broadcom’s long-term growth potential driven by secular demand for AI infrastructure and enterprise software, while remaining consistent with long-term economic growth expectations.
Based on these assumptions, the DCF model produced an implied enterprise value of approximately $1.40 trillion and an equity value of $1.33 trillion, corresponding to an intrinsic value of approximately $279 per share. Compared with Broadcom’s market price of $381.37 as of June 25, 2026, the valuation suggests that the shares are trading above their intrinsic value, resulting in a Sell recommendation. Although Broadcom remains one of the highest-quality companies in the semiconductor industry, supported by industry-leading profitability, strong free cash flow generation, and significant exposure to AI infrastructure, the current market valuation appears to reflect highly optimistic growth expectations. Consequently, we believe investors have limited upside at current prices, despite the company’s strong long-term business fundamentals.
AVGO Stock Forecast: Stock Forecast: Multiples Valuation

(Figure 6: AVGO Multiples Valuation Summary)
Comparable company analysis provides mixed valuation signals but generally supports the conclusion that Broadcom is fully valued. Based on peer trading multiples, Broadcom’s implied value ranges from $272 per share using forward P/E multiples to $341 per share using EV/EBITDA multiples, while the revenue multiple implies a value of approximately $275 per share (Figure 6). All three approaches produce valuation estimates below the current market price.
Broadcom currently trades at a premium EV/Revenue multiple relative to peers, reflecting investor expectations for sustained AI-driven growth and superior profitability. However, its forward EBITDA and earnings multiples remain below peer averages because of its strong earnings generation and integration of VMware. While these premium characteristics justify some valuation premium, current market expectations appear to price in much of Broadcom’s future growth potential.

(Figure 7: AVGO Multiples Comparison with Peers)
Broadcom trades at valuation multiples that reflect its unique combination of strong profitability, diversified revenue streams, and exposure to high-growth AI infrastructure markets. As shown in the comparable companies table, Broadcom’s forward EV/Revenue multiple of 13.5x is among the highest in the peer group, comparable to Texas Instruments (13.1x) and above NVIDIA (11.3x), Intel (10.5x), Micron (6.8x), and Qualcomm (5.7x). This premium suggests that investors are willing to pay more for Broadcom’s stable revenue base and AI-driven growth prospects. However, its forward EV/EBITDA multiple of 20.1x remains below Intel (31.0x) and Texas Instruments (24.5x), while its forward P/E ratio of 25.0x is considerably lower than Intel (114.2x) and Texas Instruments (36.6x), indicating that Broadcom generates stronger earnings and cash flow relative to its market valuation. Overall, the peer comparison highlights Broadcom’s attractive operating performance and premium market positioning, while also suggesting that much of its expected future growth has already been incorporated into its current share price. This provides the basis for the subsequent multiple valuation analysis using comparable company trading multiples.
AVGO Stock Forecast: Stock Forecast: Analysts’ Consensus

(Figure 8: Analyst Recommendations for AVGO as of 6/17/2026)
Market sentiment toward Broadcom remains overwhelmingly positive. As of June 17, 2026, Bloomberg reports that approximately 93% of analysts maintain Buy ratings, with a consensus target price of approximately $524 per share, implying meaningful upside from current trading levels (Figure 8). Analysts remain optimistic regarding Broadcom’s AI networking business, custom silicon opportunities, and continued integration benefits from VMware. While we acknowledge these favorable industry dynamics, our independent valuation produces a more conservative estimate of intrinsic value. We believe the market is assigning aggressive growth expectations that leave a limited margin of safety should AI investment slow or operating performance fall short of expectations.
AVGO Stock Forecast: Conclusion
Broadcom remains one of the highest-quality companies within the semiconductor industry, supported by exceptional profitability, strong free cash flow generation, and leading positions across AI infrastructure, networking, and enterprise software. The company’s disciplined capital allocation, improving balance sheet, and diversified business model provide a solid foundation for long-term growth.
However, valuation remains a key concern. Both the discounted cash flow analysis and comparable company valuation indicate that Broadcom’s current share price exceeds its estimated intrinsic value. Although the company’s long-term fundamentals remain attractive, much of its anticipated AI-driven growth appears to be reflected in the current market price. Consequently, we assign a Sell recommendation, as we believe investors have limited upside relative to the downside risk associated with the current valuation.
