Under Armour, founded in Baltimore, has posted 16 consecutive quarters of other 20% growth in its top line. During this time, the company has managed to triple its revenues. Furthermore, the company announced a goal to increase its revenue to $4 billion by 2016, which is almost twice its current revenue of $2.33 billion. To meet this goal, Under Armour will need to continue to expand internationally and strengthen its product lines beyond its primary business: synthetic performance apparel.

Axcelis Technologies designs, manufactures, and services ion implantation, dry trip, and other processing equipment used in the production of semiconductor chips. Axcelis sells to semiconductor manufacturers globally. 76.7% of their business comes from its ion implantation business, while the remaining 23.3% comes from its dry strip and other processing systems. Axcelis also provides aftermarket services and support such as spare parts, equipment upgrades, maintenance services and customer training.

Uranium Energy Corp is a natural resource exploration company engaged primarily in the United States. As of 2010, UEC had interests in 50,253 acres of leased or staked mineral properties in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. However, its properties have no reserves and as of July 31, 2010 the company had no revenues. In recent news, Uranium Energy Corp has acquired the Longhorn ISR Project with Longhorn’s existing aquifer exemption in southern Texas. The aquifer exemption covers a large area and greatly facilitates the work for UEC in the area.

Tesla and CEO Elon Musk produce and distribute the Tesla Model S, among other models. The Model S is a fully electric car that plugs directly into a standard outlet. With the 85 kWh battery, the Model S can go up to 260 miles on a single charge. The Model S can go from 0-60 MPH in five seconds and can be recharged at many free supercharger stations across the United States. The company is considering building a multibillion dollar factory to produce its own batteries which could be finished in the next few years.
